City park Borisova Gradina (Boris’ Garden) is a popular cruising area, especially its part after Boulevard Peyo Yavorov in direction towards Iztok neighbourhood. The red ellipse shows the part used for cruising activities. This place is very busy just before sun-down and is reported to be a good place for contacts.

The regular advice to leave your valuables at home applies here too. If you are going with your car, lock everything in your car. Avoid this place during the night as there are no lights. Sometimes skin-heads cruise this place, be careful!

Not to be mistaken with a discotheque in downtown Sofia having the same name! This is a popular bar, usually very crowded on Friday and Saturday evenings with mainly young crowd. Every Thursday night there is an etno party featuring the best of Bulgarian, Greek, Serbian and other balkan music.

This is a public park very close to the central train station of Sofia. The park attracts cruisers at any time of the day, but is especially busy in the evenings. There is plenty of light in the night, so you can easily see people who are walking around. Always have ID card with you, the place is close to police station and identity checks are often done.

Part of the city garden is being used for gay cruising. Usually there are people during any time of the day (and night) but most activity is in the summer. During the winter is too windy, so do not expect to find many people. It is possible to find hustlers here.

Leave your valuables at home when visiting this place. It is recommended to go there only with an ID card - no cell phones, no credit cards or cash. ID card is necessary in case of police check as local police is patrolling in the area. Be careful with people who approach you directly and make sure that they are over 18 to avoid complications! If possible cruise with a friend and avoid proposals from two or more persons together as you might be robbed.

One of the most popular mix clubs on the Black Sea and the biggest summer attraction in Varna. Located in the centre of the city, under Cherno More hotel. Co-exists with other clubs that you could visit if you get bored.

The club is on two levels, there is a dance floor in the middle and a stage for performance. Many popular transvestites work in this club during the summer season. The most popular one is Elza Parini, who is a local star and legend, popular with its shows on the local M-Sat channel.

Attracts people of all ages and different nationalities. During the winter this place is really quited compared to the summer glamour. Drinks are relatively expensive and typically for all Black Sea establishments you have to pay in order to use the rest room.

The bars has three levels and the party is at the lowest level every Friday and Saturday night. There is a nice terrace which is very pleasant during the summer evenings. Mainly young crowd is attracted to this place. The music is mixed including disco hits, new Bulgarian popfolk music, Greek and Serbian.

Vital is very nice for starting your night activities by having a couple of drinks in its garden. Music varies including top world hits as well as local hits. Attracts crowd of all ages, including many young people.

WhyNot is the longest surviving gay bar in Sofia. Established more than 10 years ago it continues to attract big crowds especially on the weekends after 2 a.m. WhyNot is a must stop for every foreigner who wants to feel the real spirit of Sofia and meet people who act freely and are ready to party at any time.

This bar attracts crowd of all ages and different social groups. The primary music style is Bulgarian pop-folk also known as chalga. The air conditioning is bad and when the place gets too busy it might be hard to breathe because of the cigarette smoke.
